Paul 'Silky' Jones



Paul “Silky” Jones is a former undefeated WBO Light-Middleweight World champion, defeating American Verno Phillips on 22nd November 1995.

PSJ known as “Silky” for his quickness, truly unpredictable skills and defensive prowess boxed in the Light Welterweight, Welterweight, Light Middleweight, Middleweight and Super Middleweight Divisions. 

He was the first British born fighter in history to win the World Light Middleweight Championship.

Having retired as a professional boxer in 2002. After an incredible fight career that spanned almost 20 years accumulated Five Championship titles.

PSJ has been involved in numerous charities in the UK such as Heart Research UK of which he is an Ambassador. He has supported local youth and kids with personalised training programs and is an Ambassador for SPORT FXSY.

Now residing in the UAE Paul “Silky” Jones has launched PSJ PERFORMANCE and using his wealth of high end physical fitness training experience and expertise, devoted his time and resources into training people from kids to professional athletes in a multitude of sporting codes.
